The High School mental health and wellbeing trilogy continues this week with Paul Lederer, Deputy Head of science at SWCHS.
A happy childhood in Austria ended abruptly when he lost his father to suicide, pushing a family move to Scotland. Paul’s determination and positive spirit was obvious from the start, coping with poverty and multiple school moves, he ended up graduating from the prestigious St. Andrews University.
Fast forward to now, Paul is testament to how a person can turn adversity into genuine, upbeat joy. As he says: “Being content is happiness.”
